DAILY PRACTICE IS ENCOURAGED. Beginning students would do well to practice in small amounts every day. Intermediate students should be practicing 30 to 45 minutes per day. Advanced students should be practicing one hour per day. (These are minimums)

While parents may sit in during a lesson, it is not recommended that siblings do so. If it is necessary for a sibling to attend a lesson, it is the responsibility of the parent to ensure the child is not disrupting the lesson and is sitting quietly with the parent at all times. Otherwise, the parent and sibling will be asked to wait outside. 

Students please do not bring food or drinks with you to your lesson.

Tuition fees for the month are DUE in advance at the FIRST LESSON of the month and considered LATE  AFTER THE  SECOND LESSON. 30 min class is $35. Tuition fees received on or after the second lesson are considered late and are subject to a $15.00 late fee per student. There is a $25.00 fee plus bank charges for checks returned or rejected by your bank. 

No credit will be given for missed lessons without 24 hour notice. It is up to students and parents to initiate make up lessons for any absences BEFORE the missed lesson. 

In general my flute lesson schedule follows the local school calendar.  

I require a minimum of 14 days notice should you desire to discontinue classes.
